This has been a lovely place to stay for a few days of much needed rest. We have been very comfortable here and the cottage is well equipped. Best of all we enjoyed the garden, especially watching all the bees on the lavender in the rose garden - my favourite spot.

This is such a beautiful cottage. As an artist, it has been very humbling indeed to be surrounded by the work of its previous owner. To play the piano daily has been a real treat. To have spent time chatting with the gardener and learning about life here was special. We arrived here after a week already in the area viewing a property, planning to move here from our home in the Midlands. Currently we have to walk over a motorway bridge to take the dog out. This was utter bliss! Only confirming to us that this wonderful county will be our next home. Attention to detail here made this feel like home. The garden is so nice and our dog loved the space. We are always mindful that we step into the home of someone else on holiday and here there is a very carefully thought out 'feel' to the place that enables visitors to kick off their shoes and be at ease; comfortable; peaceful and grateful.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in this beautiful and extremely comfortable cottage. It is a beautiful area with some great dog walking opportunities. We have had a wonderfully relaxing few days and would love to come back for another stay.
