Alternatively, venture to Burton Bradstock where you can pick up essentials at local stores before spending a full day upon the pebbled shores of Hive Beach, marvel at the impressive views across the channel while the kids splash around in the sea and your dog roams freely. Follow the coast along to find the famous Chesil Beach which connects Portland to the mainland; the thrill seekers among you can take to the water on stand-up paddle boards, kayaks or surfboards. Explore Weymouth where you can spend the day at the SEA LIFE, the historic Sandsfoot castle or venture to the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage site where you can walk over millions of years of evolutionary history in Lyme Regis at the fossil beach or explore countless museums showcasing fossils. Everything about it was perfect; the location, the cosy-ness, every room was so well thought out, we were wanting for nothing. I don't normally leave reviews but Honeypot cottage is somewhere you will create wonderful memories with your family. Thank you!

The cottage is tastefully decorated and had everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. Parking wasn’t a problem, there was a welcome pack of Tea, Coffee etc which was a very nice thought. The rooms are light airy and beautifully clean, we would love to go again.
