Great location and lovely countryside views from the patio. Welcome pack of wine and chocolate but no milk, thank you Victoria. Dog walks straight from the door. Garden not secure and next to the road so we went prepared and it wasn’t an issue. Cottage well equipped and very nice. No local pub and nearest one which was open daily and very welcoming was The Crown at Marnhull (10 minute drive).

We spent a very pleasant week at the Byre. It was very comfortable and there was a magnificent view at the back over the fields towards the hills. It was so quiet and peaceful, we loved it.

The Byre is situated in a lovely quiet village ideal for a relaxing holiday. Unfortunately we felt it needed an update and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired ie cobwebs on the picture in the bedroom and the bathroom cabinet was dirty. A bottle of milk would have been nice on arrival and despite it being dog friendly the garden was not secure.
