About this Inn Accommodation

The Sheaf of Arrows is situated in the pretty country village of Cranborne which dates back to Saxon times, in fact it was recorded in the Doomsday Book 1806. The Cranborne Chase anob to close by and it's an area known for its beautiful walks and tourist attractions. As well as comfortable accommodation, the inn also serves great food with the kitchens open from 11am to 9pm. Breakfast's included with your stay, families with children are very welcome and pets are allowed. Off-site parking available.   

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

The inn has four rooms available and each features an en-suite bathroom, Freeview TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, and bed linen and towels. Choose from two doubles, a single or a family room with a double and single bed. Rooms overlook the Jubilee Gardens.

Breakfast

Breakfast is included in your stay and there's a choice of a full English or a continental to help you through the day. If fancy something off menu, just ask! If the chef has it in stock then he'd be happy to cook it for you.

Other Facilities

The Sheaf of Arrows has a great, varied menu that includes a senior citizen special and options for kids. Wednesday night is a favourite at the inn as it's Chef's Pie and Pint Night. Choose from two or three pies and if beer's not your thing, have a glass of wine instead. Saturday night is Steak Night and Sunday is of course carvery. Providing you have room for it all you get a choice of meats, all the trimmings and pudding. 

Around and About

The village is home to the Cranborne Estate, one of the residences of the Marquess of Salisbury. T+he inn is close to Cranborne Chase and this Area of Natural Beauty is home to seven museums, a safari park and many historical places of interest. For cyclists, riders and cyclists there are miles and miles of byways, footpaths and bridleways.

Check in is from 12:00pm and check out is from 10am. Reception is open 24 hours.

Directions

From Salisbury: Take the A354 towards Blandford and at the Handley Cross roundabout, turn left (1st exit) on to the B3081 After three miles turn left for Cranborne and follow the road until the T junction, then turn left onto the B3078. Drive into the village and turn left before the fire station. The inn will be 100 yards on the left hand side.

From Southampton: Take the M271 towards Winchester and at the roundabout take the 1st onto the M27. Continue onto the A31 towards Ringwood. At the Ringwood petrol station take the slip to the left (B3081) towards Verwood and then at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit towards Cranborne. After one and a half miles turn left and continue until on to a T junction. From here, turn right and drive into the village. After a left before the fire station the inn is 100 yards on your left.

From Bournemouth: Take the A338 spur road towards Ringwood and at the Ashley Heath roundabout take the 3rd exit towards Ringwood. Merge onto the B3081 towards Verwood and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Cranborne. Drive one and a half miles then turn left. Continue on to the T junction and turn right on to the B3078. Drive into the village, take a left before the fire station and the inn is 100 yards on the left.
