This detached holiday property, tucked away down a country lane and a few paces away from the owners’ home, is set on the outskirts of the village of Brentor (1 mile), which is situated within the Dartmoor National Park. This cosy barn conversion is ideal for a couple who want to ’get away from it all’, and who love the great outdoors, with open moorland ¼ mile. There are fabulous walks nearby, including the iconic landmark of the tiny church of St. Michael; perched high on the rocky tor outcrop just outside the village. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Lovely stay at the smithy, excellent for walking and close to tavistock and shops ,we took our little dog and the private woods and field for walking made our stay even better we would recomend

What a find. A lovely rustic bolt hole suitable for two people and a dog. The owners were very welcoming and happily allowed access to their garden, 7 acre field and 3 acre woods. The local walks all added to the enjoyment of the splendid location on the edge of Dartmoor. 2 miles to the nearest pub was only a minor inconvenience. Would we go again - Definitely
