A well-decorated open-plan living space greets you, it is here you can flop onto the couch with the kids after a busy day exploring the wealth of activities Devon has to offer; flick on the Smart TV and watch a family favourite before thinking about dinner. Later in the evening, travel into the fully-equipped kitchen to help prepare a hearty meal for the whole family, enjoy this together at the dining table while swapping funny stories about your trip so far. After dinner, wash off the day’s adventures in the walk-in shower before tucking the kids into bed in the twin bedroom, it’ll feel just like a sleepover! The rural community of Moortown is located near the historic market town of Tavistock and the expansive moorlands of Dartmoor National Park. Visit Pew Tor for breathtaking views of the countryside, and enjoy tranquil strolls around Windy Post Granite Cross. A short drive will take you to The Whitchurch Inn, where you can enjoy a hearty, warming meal, or to Tavistock, where you can choose from a variety of restaurants. The town is also home to the largest outdoor market in the United Kingdom, the Tavistock Pannier Market, as well as the Grade I-listed Tavistock Parish Church. Plymouth, a port city further away, is a beautiful area with many attractions. The National Marine Aquarium is a must-see for nature enthusiasts, whereas Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park provide a beautiful setting for a day trip. Jennycliff Beach is the ideal place to unwind and take in the breathtaking scenery.
