Pateley Bridge is a beautiful town, voted Great Britain's Best Village High Street in 2016, sitting in Nidderdale in the Borough of Harrogate. Resting amongst the wondrous backdrops of the Nidderdale aonb and the Yorkshire Dales National Park, it makes a marvelously scenic base at any time of the year. The town boasts a selection of shops, two award-winning butchers, a bakery, the oldest sweet shop in England, pubs restaurants and more, with Ripon and Harrogate just a scenic drive away too.

Itâs comfortable and handy for all of Pateley Bridgeâs considerable charms. The view from the kitchen and sitting room, down the High Street to the hills beyond, is wonderful. We would love to stay here again and hopefully will!

The view down Pateley Bridgeâs High Street and the hills beyond is wonderful. The main photo on your website really doesnât do it justice. One thing to note - the listing claims Wi-fi and Smart TV. The wi-fi is unreliable to say the least, making the Smart aspect of the TV redundant, and is only accessible through Facebook, which is a fiddle if youâre not on Facebook or donât particularly want them to have your details. This wasnât much of a problem as we were out and about most of the time, but it might be awkward for visitors with children who need entertaining in wet weather!
