The coast is never far away and the golden sands of Westward Ho! and Saunton are well worth a visit. Other attractions in the area include the historic Cavalier town of Torrington, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Bideford, and from here you can enjoy day trips to Lundy Island on the MS Oldenburg, Tapeley Park, and numerous National Trust properties.

Venturing outside, a lovely small lawn area is located at the side of the property and here a bistro table and chairs and BBQ have been provided for guests, further to this it is possible to explore the grounds.
