Sleeping four over two peaceful bedrooms, this light and airy property is the perfect base for days out in Appledore’s winding streets of pubs, art galleries and shops. With the North Devon coastline and Exmoor National Park nearby, guests and their dog are spoiled for memorable adventures that start and end at this cottage.

The property’s interior has a lovely blend of traditional and contemporary stylings. Spend cosy evenings in in the lounge that is surrounded by fresh decor, light the wood burner and curl up on the sofa in front of the Smart TV. The well-equipped kitchen, with its delightful coastal tones, allows guests to cook their favourite meals which can be enjoyed in the dining room, complete with an ornamental fireplace. At bedtime, head upstairs to the two gorgeous bedrooms; a tranquil king-size bedroom and a double-base bunk room with its own en-suite shower room. Completing this floor is a separate WC near the master bedroom for all to make use of. Outside, guests can enjoy al fresco meals in the rear stoned seating area, or catch the sun in the grassy outdoor space around the cottage.

The village of Appledore is ideal for using as a base to visit many family attractions, including the BIG Sheep (4 miles), and The Milky Way Adventure Park and RHS Garden Rosemoor (both 11.5 miles). Don’t miss the wonderful village of Clovelly (14 miles) where the court gardens, fisherman’s cottages and museum are included in your admission fee. For memorable days outdoors, head to Westward Ho! Beach (2.5 miles) or venture further down the coast to find Abbotsham Cliffs (4.5 miles) or Peppercombe Beach (7.5 miles).
