Just 2 miles from Instow’s sandy beach and enjoying panoramic countryside views, this unusual little property, with a compact second bedroom, is built on original granary stilts and set on a child friendly, 200-acre sheep and beef farm. Instow, a charming waterside village, offers sailing, shops, pubs and a range of eating places. Bideford, 1.5 miles, blends Atlantic Village shopping outlet with narrow streets bursting with antique shops. From here, boat trips can be taken to Lundy Island and along the spectacular coastline. Hire a bike and enjoy the estuary cycleways. Clovelly and Rosemoor Gardens are within 12 miles; golf, horse riding, fishing and watersports within 5 miles. Shop 1½ miles, pubs and restaurant 2 miles.

We had a lovely relaxing time at the cottage. I haven’t given a review on amenities as there was none and that’s why we booked this cottage. The owner and family were very friendly and gave us advice about walking to instow and Bideford. Would book again.

We had a lovely stay at Weach Barton.The weather remained nice for us and even though we did not get onto the Tarka trail our son loved cycling up the lane with Tessie and Poppy in tow! The accommodation was lovely beds very comfortable bath nice and hot and well equipped with utensils and crockery. A lovely quiet location.

Amazingly fabulous week staying in the Weach Barton Granary. Excellent accommodation immaculately clean and well equipped. Perfect for 2/3 to explore the coast. Julie was a wonderful host and was very accommodating. We looked over the most incredible views and it was so lovely to be on a working farm. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. Gold stars all round.
