Just 2 miles from Instow’s sandy beach and enjoying panoramic countryside views, this unusual little property, with a compact second bedroom, is built on original granary stilts and set on a child friendly, 200-acre sheep and beef farm. Instow, a charming waterside village, offers sailing, shops, pubs and a range of eating places. Bideford, 1.5 miles, blends Atlantic Village shopping outlet with narrow streets bursting with antique shops. From here, boat trips can be taken to Lundy Island and along the spectacular coastline. Hire a bike and enjoy the estuary cycleways. Clovelly and Rosemoor Gardens are within 12 miles; golf, horse riding, fishing and watersports within 5 miles. Shop 1½ miles, pubs and restaurant 2 miles.

Secluded getaway in North Devon. Beautiful secluded location whilst very easy to get to and from. Small and cosy with everything we needed. Very helpful and friendly host. Just a label on the switch for the hot water. Maybe a refresh of kitchen utensils.

This little cottage was quite different being a converted granary on a working farm. Accommodation well thought out. Very comfortable beds. It had beautiful views over the surrounding hills and farmland. Very peaceful being tucked away from roads and and any disturbance. Friendly host who met us to show us round. She left edible treats and milk to refresh us after our journey - thank you.

Weach Barton Granary proved to be a very cosy and private place to be, just what we were looking for to escape a busy time at home! Despite the poor weather we found plenty to keep us occupied and the countryside is beautiful!Thank you Julie for the welcome basket of goodies - it was so thoughtful to include a can of ale and prosecco in it!
