Primrose Cottage, refurbished in 2023 is a two-bedroom seaside home located in the heart of Teignmouth, less than a minute’s walk from the beach, promenade, train station and Southwest Coastal Path. The holiday home feels stylish, bright and homely, the perfect base for a family or a group of friends looking for a relaxing coastal holiday.
As you enter the cottage, you will head into the cosy living and dining area which is comfortably furnished with plenty of seating, a table and chairs, Smart TV with Freeview and a sofa bed which can be set up to accommodate two guests if requested. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed to prepare a home-cooked meal and this leads to the modern shower room. The private garden at the back of the property is a real suntrap and has been lovingly set up for guests to enjoy with a patio area. Head upstairs to discover the two beautifully furnished bedrooms, the first with a kingsize bed and the second with twin beds.
When you are ready to escape the charm of this property, you will be spoilt for choice with breathtaking scenery to explore. Primrose Cottage is the perfect getaway for foodies, shoppers, families, walkers, and beach and water sports lovers due to its enviable central location. Loved this place. Everything you need for a great stay: well equipped kitchen, games, books etc. Comfy beds, very clean throughout. Shower was excellent, possibly best I've ever used! Really nice welcome basket, something which you don't always get these days. Yes, I could list some very minor quibbles, but won't as they had no negative impact on my stay whatsoever. Thank you Carlie for being a great host.

Bedrooms good.Kitchen good.Bathroom good but inconvenient being downstairs & wasn't mentioned on website page. Living room needs brighter lights as very dull. Lots of dirt under bed settee.Chesterfield sofa needs cleaning down sides & back of cushions. Full of dirt, hairs and food bits. Rug practical but not homely.Dining chairs need seats repaired or better still replaced.Living room walls need painting.No carbon monoxide monitor in bedroom near boiler. Only an angel fire alarm that didn't work when tested. Although the one downstairs worked okay. Little bedroom has an extension lead plugged into another extension lead going under a bed. It would be safer having one longer extension lead, as its not safe joining two together.Plants & flowers front & back need some attention.Overall appearance on first entering the cottage was disappointing, due to its drab appearance.Sorry! I don't like leaving negative reviews but felt necessary this time.
