Teignmouth is a traditional seaside resort boasting a beautiful long sandy beach, a pier and a great variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. The beach is dog friendly all year and the water is clean and safe for bathing. The museum in town is award winning and there’s a theatre that puts on live performances as well as doubling up as a cinema. If you want to head out of town for excitement, Paignton Zoo with its wide assortments of wildlife is 14 miles away and Woodlands Theme Park is 22 miles distant.
