Further afield, a short drive away the historic city of Exeter hosts a wide selection of amenities and attractions including its Gothic cathedral, Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery and famed underground passages - perfect for the history lovers among you. Head to the coast at Teignmouth and stroll along the Victorian pier, build sandcastles on the long sandy beach, or venture to the Dartmoor National Park for scenic walking routes and luscious landscapes like no other.
