The suburban town of Newton Abbot is just a 2-mile drive away, where you can shop and visit many superstores for all your requirements during your stay.
This property will provide a great base from which to explore South Devon, especially for anyone who shares a passion for the outdoors. Close to this location there are many local parks and outdoor spaces to explore, including Decoy Country Park and Stover Country Park. The house is very disappointing and it was a shock to see how it had changed since the photos were taken. The floors in the kitchen and bathroom are no longer Lino but are broken tiles. The floor by the kitchen sink moves when trodden on! The carpets need cleaning. The house was cold and damp with signs of black mould in the main bedroom which had two cracked windows. The leather sofas had covers over the rips. The smart TV wasn’t connected to the internet!The whole house, carpets and decor are very run down.

We booked a 4 day stay here Thought it was a reasonable price but disappointed with some of the condition of things The sofas were very uncomfortable they were all ripped. The tiles on the kitchen floor were all cracked there was a mat on the floor but the floor felt not to good when you stepped on it. the chairs in the garden were really dirty and you could not sit on them garden needs tidying the location is great but was a bit disappointed with the accommodation we had to put 100 pounds deposit in case of damage waiting for it to be refunded

I'll give a honest review, if you're after 5 star luxury, this isn't the place for you! If you're after a well placed, good value property that allows easy access to most of South Devon, give it a go! We are not overly fussy so overlooked a lot, the place could do with a good sort out but you won't find a cheaper let for 7 people so in our opinion the pros out weigh the cons! The only thing that I will complain about is the length of the grass in the garden, very difficult when you have 2 dogs and trying to find the poo! However, we would stay here again though as the location was perfect for us.
