Perfectly placed for exploring, the wild beauty of Dartmoor and its tors lies within a few minutes drive, as does the beach at Dawlish Warren. Exeter and its Medieval cathedral are also within striking distance, so you’ll be able to shop, eat out and explore to your heart’s content. Just 5 minutes on foot or a couple of minutes by car, The Ley Arms is a stunning 12th Century thatched pub with a cosy atmosphere and an excellent reputation. The food here is warming, fresh and created from locally sourced ingredients so it’s well worth a visit during your stay. On sunny days you’ll be able to sit outside and enjoy the leafy outlook and village atmosphere, while in colder weather, the inside is kept warm by a large log fire.

Less than a mile away in Kennford, the local grocery store and post office sells freshly baked goodies and a range of necessities. It's also home to its own pub, The Seven Stars which is a great place to sample a few West Country beers as well as delicious pub grub including pies and takeaway pizzas.
