With Castle views from the front of the house and perfectly situated to offer an area of respite from the busy and flamboyant town with countryside walks easily accessible yet the main high street is only 0.3 miles walk. The town itself has some beautiful walks to Dartington and also has Totnes Castle (0.3 miles away) which is one of the best preserved examples of a Norman motte and is a feast for history fanatics. Totnes is a very central town and is one of the main routes through South Devon, making this a great location to explore other parts of the area. Dartmouth is 14 miles away with picturesque scenes of the River Dart, Paignton is 7 miles away and if you have children with you then a trip to Paignton Zoo is a must! and only 5 miles. Step through the front door and into the hallway where you can hang coats and leave your shoes. To your right you enter the lounge and dining room, with big windows, high ceilings and a cosy décor the owner have really created a lovely ambience for a relaxing holiday. Cuddle up on the large sofa whilst watching a good film with a bowl of popcorn. Settle for dinner at the dining table with family or friends, either cooked by yourself or delivered by the local takeaway.
