The nearby town of Kingsbridge (7 miles), located on an attractive estuary, is just a short drive away with much to offer, including a selection of cafes, pubs, and shops. Totnes (10 miles) has a castle and an abundance of independent shopping, a local market, and stunning countryside. Further afield, visit Salcombe and Dartmouth (both 13 miles), where you can sample the freshly caught seafood and the sailing facilities available.
