We loved this immaculately presented cottage, down a hidden track, opening onto an oasis of calm. Set in attractive gardens, on a farm site it was fairly remote, which suited us, but very comfortable and overlooking a carp pond. Catching the sun most of the day, there were also mature trees providing shade. The owners made us very welcome and were on hand if need be.

An amazing little cottage in a tranquil setting. The cottage is very clean, bed very comfortable and the kitchen fully equipped including a dishwasher. Small pond with fish and ducks and lots of garden birds and other wildlife. There’s a deer that comes to the pond for a drink early morning but wasn’t lucky enough to see it. Hosts Rachel and Alex very friendly and full of really helpful information. Travel time to the local towns very good. Anything between 25 to 45 minutes depending where you want to go by car. Everything you need is here for a wonderful holiday. We had an evening meal in the village pub The Ship Inn, very nice.

Super cottage with everything one needs, with a super garden. Visited in spring when the sun was shining for a full week. Local pub with good food, nearby pub with good pizza garden, and fairly handy for Torquay, Plymouth, and Paignton. Grand!
