Nestled in the beautiful, small market town of Modbury in the heart of South Devon, explore the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and its wonderful beaches. Less than 5 miles away is Wonwell Beach, an unspoilt bay with a large stretch of exposed sand at low tide. Stop by Burgh Island, famed for its association with Agatha Christie. At low tide take a wander across the causeway or, for a unique experience, take a trip on the tall sea tractor keeping an eye out for Agatha s now famous writing hut. The nearby towns of Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth boast fantastic seafood restaurants and shopping, or why not visit Woodlands Adventure Park (12 miles), Devon s largest theme park. Stepping into this welcoming cottage, you re greeted by the cosy open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With a Sky Glass TV on the wall, kick back and watch your favourite programme whilst listening to the large wood burner crackle in the stone built fireplace. Settle down for an afternoon siesta or read your favourite book in the wingback arm chairs in front of the fire. When you re ready to cook up some supper, the well equipped kitchen including an electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer is perfectly placed so the chef can still be a part of the evening entertainment. A beautiful hand crafted wooden table seats up to six comfortably, with fairy lights and exposed beams making it the perfect setting for an evening meal. There is a separate downstairs WC and porch area to the rear of the property. Moving upstairs, you ll find three double bedrooms, all with exposed original floorboards and storage space. Finishing off the property is the family bathroom, with a beautiful roll top bath with a shower above and a WC. There is on street parking or 130 metres down the road is a public long stay car park.
