Guests say

Upper Riverdene is highly praised for its stunning views, modern and well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedroom. Guests appreciate the property's proximity to local transport and attractions. The challenging steps and parking are noted, but the location and views are considered well worth it.

Guests consistently describe the property as clean and well-maintained, with a modern and clean apartment feel. No negative comments about cleanliness suggest a high standard.

The location is lauded for its amazing views and convenience to ferries, trains, and local amenities. The steep steps are a drawback for some, but the overall location is highly valued.

The property is generally found to be comfortable, especially the bed in the main bedroom. However, some guests find the sofa and pillows less comfortable, slightly lowering the score.

Facilities are well-received, with a fully equipped kitchen and powerful shower. Some minor issues with the sofa and access to the washing machine are noted, but the quick response to a power surge is positively highlighted.

While guests are pleased with the provision of items like books and binoculars, there is no mention of gifts, and therefore it is not possible to assess thoughtfulness in this context.

We have been on a number of occasions and always enjoy our break. The steps to the apparent are a challenge as we get older unfortunately but a lovely apartment

What a great surprise we had, a real gem of a place. Loved everything about Upper Riverdene, clean, kitchen full equipped, great shower and comfortable bed but the views are the best I've ever seen. Worth having your morning coffee, wrapped up, on the balcony in winter. Highly recommend the Steam Packet for pizza, walk to Dittisham and shopping in Dartmouth.

The apartment, overlooking Dartmouth harbour is absolutely wonderful, and is difficult to beat, and having a balcony and chairs is a real bonus in this part of the world. The apartment itself is modern and clean, with a brand new kitchen, pans, cutlery, crockery etc., plus books and binoculars - all wonderful. We loved the apartment and will definitely be back. That said, for the sake of others, I think it's useful to point out some of the plus and less good points. The large sofa however has seen better days and needs replacing - it is incredibly uncomfortable and tatty. Although the room isn't large, it could certainly take a separate easy chair. Downstairs, the shower room also looks new, and the shower has real power, and the heated towel rail is great. There's an understairs washing machine, but access is not easy, and we couldn't find any airing rack or similar. The main bedroom is huge and has a lovely comfortable king size bed, although the pillows and bedding were a bit old. The bunk bedroom though is tiny and only fit for two u-10's I'd suggest. The other thing to note is that there is nowhere to stop and unload your car outside, and all luggage has to be taken up the very steep stone steps to the side, with very poor lighting (we were there in between Christmas and NY).Finally, we had a power surge on the Sunday morning, cutting all power sockets and the heaters. We called the caretaker, who was there within 20 minutes, he called another local handyman and between them, we had power and heating restored within an hour. Absolutely wonderful response , and really appreciated.All-in-all, a great little , comfortable apartment, and well worth the money.
