This charming two bedroom reverse level apartment set in an elevated position in Kingswear with stunning River Dart views and to the Royal Naval College. This apartment has been refurbished in 2025 and provides perfect accommodation for two adults and two children. It is located in the very heart of Kingswear and is just a few minutes walk from the quay, ferries, village shop, cafe, and two public houses.

Thank you for a great stay at upper river Dene. We have a supurb family stay. Sun, water, walks, food and beer what else do you need. The location of the apartment was great and wow what veiws from the balcony watching the comings and goings oh and yes the annual regatta we timed our stay to perfection watching the navy and a super yacht some in for mooring. The house was clean and tidy and had all the family needed and many a evening was spent on the balcony with a wee glass. The only issue we had was stairs to the property that was only down to having a elderly dog with us other than this a fit family woulnt have issues but elderly folks might. We parked our car a few streets behind the property then again demands a good pair of legs. Local pubs were favorites and the ferry to Dartmouth is handy for local shops. Our 13 year old boy loved using this place as his local swim club with jumping off the Quay. Day trips to Brixham,Totnes, Berry head and the sea shore pool. Fishing of the Quay catching sea Bass. Evening crabbing and seal spotting this really is an ideal place to stay with a young/teenager family. We will 100% be back.

This is our fourth visit to Upper Riverdene , you cannot fault the location and the apartment is lovely.Enjoyed going to Dartmouth on the lower ferry and bought a saver pass for this.We had visits to Coleton Fishacre, with its fabulous garden and views, also Greenaway and a trip to Salcombe and Totnes and Plymouth, all in all a superb week away.

Lovely apartment with stunning view over harbour. This was our second visit. Plenty of local walks and near to two ferries to hop across to Dartmouth. 30 Steep stone steps to access! Apartment only lacking a tin opener! Perhaps to keep a bit cooler in this hot weather which seems to be happening more often, is some kitchen blinds to help keep living area on top floor a bit cooler when all closed up during the day when we were out.
