Located in the picturesque South Hams region of southern Devon, Dartmouth is a popular tourist destination due to its estuary location on the River Dart. Dartmouth, Devon, is a hotspot for vacationers thanks to its proximity to the coast and the fact that it is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town hosts many annual events, including the Dart Music Festival, the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, and the Dartmouth Food Festival, all of which take advantage of the town's beautiful waterfront and ancient, winding streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants, and art galleries. The South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail, and a plethora of quiet country lanes are just some of the many exciting routes for cyclists and pedestrians in the Dartmouth area. The Dartmouth Steam Railway ride through the countryside to Paignton is a must, as is the boat ride across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a charming little harbour town. Blackpool Sands, a recipient of the Blue Flag Award, and Slapton Sands, a popular destination not far from Dartmouth, are just two of the many beaches available in the South Hams area. In South Devon, at a tranquil spot.

The sail loft is clean, cosy, adequately equipped and location just perfect. We explored a new beach every day and came back to a piping hot shower and a relaxing evening. Would definitely stay here again .

I think there should be some hooks in the cupboard to hang your coats nowhere to hang them also no floor mop and some one should clean outside windows covered in spiders and cobwebs lol

It is a lovely property. However we did find the seating was very low for us. Also l found the step to get into the property was to high for me , l have some mobility problems, and had to be helped up the step. May be another step could be put down, or a handle put up.It would make access to the property easier. Again may l say we still very much staying, at the sail loft.
