The Quay is a cosy gem nestled right on Dartmouth’s sparkling waterfront, offering a warm and luxury space that’s just perfect for two. This charming bolthole combines nautical flair with a relaxed, homely touch, making it a dreamy hideaway for couples looking to slow down and savour the best of coastal life.
Step inside, and upstairs you’ll find a beautifully open-plan living area with large windows framing incredible estuary views. The lounge invites you to settle down in front of the wood burner with a glass of wine, while the thoughtfully designed kitchen is well-equipped, so you can whip up a leisurely brunch to enjoy at the dining nook or out on the sunny terrace with your own bistro table for two (accessed via the bedroom). Here, you can sit back, watch the boats go by, and soak up the beauty of the river as the sun dances on the water.
The ground floor features the light-filled bedroom dressed in soft linens and calming hues, complete with a plush king-size bed for the ultimate night’s sleep after a day exploring this incredible coastline. A stylish en-suite bathroom with a bath tub of dreams adds a touch of luxury, creating a peaceful haven to unwind with that well earned glass of local Sharpham wine before heading out for supper in one of the many acclaimed restaurants over the water.

We had the most wonderful week at The Quay. A beautiful, stylish property with views to die for. We would love to return. So many small details had been thought of and the design of the property is stunning. 5 stars from us. The attention to detail was really appreciated and it genuinely was a 5 star stay.

Thank you we had a wonderful stay at The Quay. 5 stars! What a delightful property and location and views to die for from the lounge and bedroom. A real pleasure to relax and admire the views and boating activity on the Dart. We regularly saw grey and harbour seals on the dinghy pontoons within 30m of the property. Quiet and relaxing and beautifully fitted out and well equipped. Easy to get to Dartmouth on the Lower Ferry. Kingswear gets the sun in the afternoon. Spotlessly clean and secure. The property and location far exceeded our expectations. We will plan to come back for another week next year as lots more to explore and do in the area.

5 stars for sure! We had the most wonderful stay. The Quay was just ‘wow’! Everything was perfect. The location was brilliant, so easy to pop on the ferry over to Dartmouth and the views from both the lounge and the bedroom were stunning. We could have sat all day watching what was happening on the water, boats, birds and even a seal. Beautiful neutral decoration, relaxing, smart and spotless clean. The welcome gifts were so thoughtful and made our trip to celebrate our anniversary feel extra special. The log burner was fantastic with lots of logs to keep us warm in the evenings.
