What a spectacular apartment! The views were incredible and definately worth the walk up from town every day, you do get used to the steps and feel much fitter for it! Lovely to sit out on the balcony for a nightcap at the end of the night and watch the ferry going back and forth to Kingswear. We couldn't find the switch for the outside heater, but the blankets provided did the job! We would stay here again without any hesitation!

Oystercatcher was a beautifully presented apartment which was immaculately clean. It had everything we needed and we loved sitting out on the balcony every morning and admiring the views (which were spectacular!). There was plenty to do in Dartmouth and lots of places to eat. Using the parking permit for the main car park in Dartmouth wasn’t a problem but dropping off and packing the car to leave was not for the faint hearted as the roads to the apartment were so narrow and steep (also not helped by the fact that it was regatta week so we were forced to use the park and ride car park from Tuesday to Friday). Despite this we had a lovely relaxing stay - would recommend!

This is our 2nd stay at the property and it doesn't disappoint! The climb to the property does not get any easier but the views are worth it! The Oystercatcher is well equipped for your stay and if the weather is good you can make use of the fantastic garden and river views. The beds are comfy and the kitchen has everything you need if you want to eat in. It was good to see some new shops open in the town, shame about The Angel restaurant though. There are plenty of places to eat out to suit all budgets & tastes and nothing beats a takeaway from Rockfish eaten in the garden over looking the estuary ( we could not find the light switches for the outdoor lights though!). The drive up Above Town can be stressful, not helped by bad parking by others, but if you know what to expect & take your time it’s worth the effort. All in all another fab stay & we will be back!
