We really enjoyed our holiday at 12a Mount Boone.The views from the living room window are absolutely stunning and can't be beaten, you can sit there for hours just watching the boats and the steam train go by.The town is about a ten minute walk, so everything is very close by and Dartmouth has lots to do with all the boat trips, steam train and shops.The apartment itself is very spacious and has everything you need.We were very happy with our stay there and would definitely visit again.

Nice spacious period apartment with fantastic views which were well worth the climb up the hill, which seemed to get easier as the week went on. We spent many hours sitting with a glass of wine (or two) and pair of binoculars watching the comings and goings on the river. We only used our car one day and found plenty to occupy our time the rest of the week. We can recommend the guided tour around the Naval College, boat trip up the river to Totness and steam train ride to Paignton. There is a lovely walk out to the castle and the coffee and cakes at the cafe there are delicious. Some great eating places in Dartmouth are the Rockfish restaurant and Bayards Cove Inn. An ice cream treat each day before tackling the walk back worked well. Just be careful of the theiving seagulls!

Excellent location with a truly amazing view. Easy access to amenities and also to drive in and out of Dartmouth. Everything was comfortable and the place was well equipped. However, the coldest setting on the shower was too hot to stand under (reported but nothing was done), which was a bit of a nightmare in the heatwave. Also, the builders were in the apartment below meaning loud starts at 8am and we hadn't been warned about this. It was also very noisy with the people upstairs creaking floorboards until 2 or 3 in the morning (they did stop after we mentioned it). No idea what they were doing or if it is a long lasting issue. Some very sleepless nights and boiling hot showers put a huge dampener on what could have been a perfect holiday.
