A spacious apartment being part of a large Victorian house conversion. Located in an exclusive area of the town and with the added advantage of on-site parking. The property is only a 10-minute walk to the waterfront, shops and restaurants and has lovely river views, out to sea and the castle.

Excellent location with a truly amazing view. Easy access to amenities and also to drive in and out of Dartmouth. Everything was comfortable and the place was well equipped. However, the coldest setting on the shower was too hot to stand under (reported but nothing was done), which was a bit of a nightmare in the heatwave. Also, the builders were in the apartment below meaning loud starts at 8am and we hadn't been warned about this. It was also very noisy with the people upstairs creaking floorboards until 2 or 3 in the morning (they did stop after we mentioned it). No idea what they were doing or if it is a long lasting issue. Some very sleepless nights and boiling hot showers put a huge dampener on what could have been a perfect holiday.

Our walking holiday at 12A Mount Boon Way has been a memorable one. Our favourite items the two wicker chairs that face a large window offering its wide uninterrupted view of Dartmouth and Kingswear, reaching beyond Dartmouth castle - fantastic, (remember to bring binoculars) and the super large fluffy bath towels. The apartment itself is within a converted Victorian building therefore the shared entrance is a little disappointing. However the easily accessible parking space is a great bonus. We didn't use the car until time to pack up! The apartment below has builders in but they were very respectful and not a problem. Recommendations, a visit to Byards Cove Inn for an evening meal and Alf Resco cafe for a great breakfast, they open 7am-2pm.
