Please note: No children under 12 years old. The property has a low balcony and a drop from the low terrace wall.. Kitcat Cottage has been fully refurbished and redecorated, and is presented to a very good standard, with two bedrooms and a large south facing terrace for al fresco dining.

Location brilliant, but we knew that having been to Dartmouth many times. Balconies perfect for non sun lovers to enjoy with a glass of wine in the evening...for anyone else, pretty much all day sunshine! The house beautifully clean for fussy people like us too. Tiny bath but the shower was a good one. Negatives: Front door handle loose and needed changing. Top bedroom French door very difficult to close. Really nice staircase but super creaky! The kitchen was hot and needs a blackout blind and the rug was a death trap and unnecessary. The lower bedroom was extremely musty. Such a shame because it looked so cool and we'd planned on sleeping there for that reason, but couldn't. We had to close the door on it because it was overpowering the whole hallway. Lots of good, helpful equipment such as w/m and tumble dryer, d/washer, clothes airer, ironing board. In this age of ridiculously hot weather, a fan would have been very welcome! All in all a lovely property just needing a few tweaks to make it perfect.

Kitcat cottage was perfect, just far enough from town that it’s very peaceful but close enough to be by the waters edge in a minute! Super clean, has everything you need. Beautiful

We were well aware of the steps leading to and the stairs indoor at the property but did not really heed the warnings. There are 17 steps (some drawn out) leading from the street to the property, inside the property there is a narrow hallway with bedroom on the left, then there is the first flight of narrow, steep stairs with a sharp turn half way, this leads to a beautiful lounge/kitchen area with access to a balcony. The kitchen is very well equipt and contains a good cooker and oven, lounge has a low settee and chairs. There is another flight of narrow twisted stairs leading to the bathroom and upper bedroom, bathroom although a little on the small size has excellent shower over bath.Bedroom is a decent size with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. There are French doors opening up onto a second balcony.Overall it is a lovely place, unfortunately I am obviously past my "peak" fitness and found the premises too demanding, especially when carrying suitcases and shopping etc. Anyone of a fitter nature should enjoy this cottage, it is situated in town with access to shops, bars, restaurants etc., not too far to walk to car park which is free with properties parking permit.
