A delightful detached cottage located in the centre of Dartmouth only a stones throw from the waterfront, restaurants and shops. The cottage, which has been tastefully furnished and decorated is well equipped and has views of the river and out to the castle and sea from the bedrooms.

The cottage is really well cleaned and the pack of coffee/tea and cleaning stuff is good however it would be nice to have some washing machine tablets and some pegs. New photos are needed and the garden needs tidying.

Evelyn cottage has spectacular views from the second floor, is centrally located for Dartmouth and has a bonus of some outdoor space for relaxing and dining.At the time of our visit the parking permit was not available as advertised, the paint work refurbishment had begun in a small way and the outdoor space was uncared for and had the remnants of the old kitchen stacked behind the small shed.To be noted, the double bed is barely 6ft long, and anyone approaching 5ft 10' will struggle to sleep comfortably.

Lovely cottage, booked as in the photos there was a bath and parking permit, with a young child a shower isn’t ideal. No bath, beautiful shower, newly fitted as the bathroom still needed a coat of paint (pencil marks on the walls where the towel rail is fitted and patching paint). No parking permit, had an email about it a few weeks before arrival. Just made it more expensive at around £15 a day for parking, a few broken sockets and masking tape around the banister (presuming from painting). Overall a lovely cottage.
