It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many popular events such as the annual Dart Music Festival, Dartmouth Food Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. This historic town boasts interesting landmarks, such as Dartmouth Castle, the Britannia Royal Naval College, and the National Trust’s Greenway House just a short ferry ride away. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through the rolling countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat or ferry trip across to Kingswear, on to Brixham, or down the river to the village of Dittisham.     We had a problem with the heating but this was quickly fixed with prompt help from the outstanding team at the Dartmouth office. We are looking forward to returning and have already booked our next visit.

    Apartment was very warm and cosy the only downside is the sofas are a little tired and need replacing, hooks on the backs of the doors on the en-suite and bathroom would be useful when bathing. These are minor points on a lovely apartment.
