Snaptrip says

Beachcomber is a well-loved, modern, and clean lodge in a quiet park, offering a comfortable 'home from home' experience. It serves as an excellent base for exploring South Devon, despite some minor maintenance issues and the absence of on-site facilities.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently praised the property for its neatness and cleanliness, describing it as 'spotlessly clean' and 'well presented'.

While the property is appreciated for being a good base to tour South Devon, there is not enough detailed feedback on the location itself to provide a score.

The property is generally considered comfortable, especially the beds. However, several guests mentioned the sofa being too low and lacking back support, which affected the comfort score.

The lodge is well-equipped, but there are comments on minor maintenance issues like a wobbly kitchen tap and the need for new batteries in a remote. The absence of internet and the coin-operated electricity meter were noted.

There are no mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so it is not possible to score this category. Guests should note that such amenities are not guaranteed.

Very comfy beds, good towels, but sofa was too low and soft to sit comfortably. It would be nice to have hooks on the bedroom and bathroom doors for dressing gowns. But we had a very enjoyable time and hope to come back.
