No smoking.. April Cottage is situated just around the corner from Dartmouth’s main town centre, on a quiet walkway set away from the road. It access to the beautiful River Dart and the array of restaurants and shops this wonderful town has to offer. You enter April Cottage through the front courtyard garden, which is a pleasant area to sit out in. Guests then find themselves in the entrance hallway leading into the open-plan living space. This area is modern, with good quality appliances and mood lighting. The living area has two large sofas to relax on after a long day of exploring, whilst the kitchen has a table and four chairs so there’s plenty of room for all to enjoy dinner together. There is also a downstairs toilet on this floor and a handy bar area to store your favourite tipple, with a wine cooler underneath. Upstairs leads to the two bedrooms of the property, one en-suite, as well as a family bathroom.
There is so much to do and see in and around Dartmouth, whether you are a keen boating enthusiast or want to enjoy the historical gardens of Coleton Fishacre. The family-friendly adventure park of Woodlands is a short drive away, as is Dartmouth Golf Club and Spa. Whether visiting Dartmouth solely or enjoying the nearby towns of the South Hams in addition, April Cottage is a great place to start.

We very much enjoyed our stay at April Cottage. It is a lovely cottage, decorated to a high standard and equipped with everything we needed and more! The cottage is very well located in lovely Dartmouth, with everything within easy walking distance. The parking space is in a small, secluded car park less than 10 minutes walk away. Having said that we did manage to park in the road down the hill from the cottage to unload and load the car as there wasn’t the summer restrictions on parking in operation. We did have a minor issue which the owners were able to solve promptly following an email from us. Whilst the WIFI worked very well we didn’t have a phone signal in the cottage. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at April Cottage.
