Tour Dartmouth and its surrounding area by visiting the Dartmouth Museum, Bayard's Cove, and Dartmouth Castle, dining at one of the town's three Michelin-starred restaurants and stocking up on necessities at the local convenience store. Visit Kingswear Castle, the stunning National Trust - Coleton Fishacre, and The Ship Inn by taking the ferry over to Kingswear. Further afield, there is Totnes, which features a magnificent castle, the Totnes Pannier Market on Fridays and Saturdays, and Borough Park. You'll find all of this and more at 19 Above Town.

Dartmouth, a popular and picturesque town in South Devon, is located on the banks of the River Dart estuary. Dartmouth is a popular Devon tourist destination because of its proximity to the coast and its location within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Dartmouth is known for its beautiful waterfront, its historic, winding streets filled with quaint shops, cafes, and galleries, and its many annual events, including the Dart Music Festival, the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, and the Dartmouth Food Festival, all of which take place in October. The South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail, and countless peaceful country lanes are just a few of the many exciting routes for cyclists and pedestrians in the Dartmouth area. Take a ride on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through the countryside to Paignton, and then continue on to the charming harbour town of Brixham by boat. Blackpool Sands, winner of the Blue Flag Award, and Slapton Sands, a popular beach not far from Dartmouth, are just two of the many options available to beachgoers in the South Hams area. A serene setting in the heart of South Devon.

4th or 5th visit. Great views over the river, Kingswear and out to the castle. Staying again in May. Of particular note is the fact that the property is always cosy and warm- which is just as well when taking a break in the UK in March

Your advice was to bring some tea towels which we did, these were supplied but not dish cloth!! Crockery and cutlery all muddled up together which does not give a good first impression. The house was lovely and warm and the view stunning.

Lovely house & location. The one thing I would mention which wasn't a problem as such but thought you may like to know, was that we moved one of the sofas to look for something I'd dropped and found a load of old crisps underneath it along with a lighter & a disposable vape. As I said it wasn't really a problem & we cleaned it up & disposed of the items but thought should mention it as clearly it was left from the previous occupiers.
