Guests say

Bridge House is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its spaciousness, comfort, and scenic, tranquil location. Guests enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, the added fun of a games room, and the property's suitability for dogs. The rural setting offers stunning views and a peaceful retreat, with some noting the narrow access roads. The cottage's character, including open beams and a converted mill, adds to its charm, although it may present challenges for those with mobility issues. Overall, guests had a delightful stay, often mentioning the desire to return.

Guests consistently described the cottage as very clean, with no negative comments on cleanliness. The property's tidiness contributed positively to the overall experience.

The location is highly praised for its beauty and tranquillity, with stunning views of Exmoor and a peaceful rural setting. However, some guests noted the narrow and bendy access roads, which could be a consideration for less confident drivers.

The cottage is frequently described as comfortable, with comfy beds and a spacious living area. The peaceful environment contributed to a good night's sleep for guests. Some concerns were raised about suitability for young children or those less able due to stairs.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and the bonus of a games room. Some guests suggested additional cooking essentials and noted the low placement of the microwave. The property's unique features, such as the sunken bath, were appreciated but also noted as potentially challenging for some guests.

While guests mentioned receiving a cake, bread, milk, tea, and coffee, as well as a beautifully decorated house for Christmas, there is no consistent mention of gifts across reviews to guarantee their provision for every stay. The thoughtfulness of the hosts is apparent, but as gifts are not a guaranteed amenity, a score cannot be provided.
