Beach House is a beautifully presented detached holiday home in Woolacombe, just a short stroll from the award-winning beach and vibrant village centre. Sleeping six people in three en suite bedrooms, it’s perfect for families or friends looking to enjoy the North Devon coast in comfort. The spacious interiors are thoughtfully laid out, with two living rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a games room for laid-back evenings. Large picture windows frame the sea views, and the fully enclosed garden with patio and BBQ is ideal for dogs and kids alike. Off-road parking is available for three cars.

Woolacombe is one of Devon’s most popular seaside destinations, famous for its three-mile stretch of golden sand, great surf, and lively yet laid-back atmosphere. It’s also home to independent shops, beach cafes, friendly pubs, and casual dining spots, all within walking distance from the house. The beach is lifeguarded during the summer, making it a great choice for families. Just a mile away, the village of Mortehoe is a quieter spot with a fascinating maritime museum, pubs, and access to stunning clifftop walks along the South West Coast Path.

Beyond Woolacombe, North Devon offers a rich mix of countryside and coast. Ilfracombe is a short drive away, where you’ll find Tunnels Beaches, Damien Hirst’s Verity statue, and boat trips to Lundy Island. Exmoor National Park is also within easy reach for hikes, cycling, and wildlife watching. Families will enjoy days out at Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park or Watermouth Castle, while surfers and walkers can make the most of the North Devon World Surfing Reserve and its spectacular sights.

Accommodation Comprises

Beach House is a light-filled family home with two living rooms, a well-equipped kitchen/diner, games room, enclosed garden and three en suite bedrooms.

Ground Floor

  • Private entrance with one step up to the front door.
  • Kitchen/diner with modern fitted kitchen, oven, ceramic hob, American-style fridge/freezer with ice dispenser, microwave, toaster, kettle, barista-style coffee machine, dishwasher, and all necessary utensils. Dining table and seating for 6, plus a TV and additional soft seating.
  • Main living room with large sofas, Smart TV, picture windows with sea views, and French doors opening onto the patio and garden.
  • Second living room with Smart TV, large sofas, and woodburner for cooler evenings.
  • Utility room with Belfast sink, washing machine and tumble dryer.
  • Downstairs wet room with walk-in rainfall shower, basin, WC, and heated towel rail.
  • Games room with sports table offering a choice of pool and table tennis, plus a dart board, Smart TV and sofa.
  • First Floor

  • Bedroom 1: Superking zip-and-link bed (can be arranged as twin), TV, and en suite bathroom with spa bath, overhead and side shower, basin and WC.
  • Bedroom 2: Double bed, Smart TV, and en suite shower room with basin and WC.
  • Bedroom 3: Twin zip-and-link beds (can be king-size), Freeview TV, sea views and en suite shower room with basin and WC.
  • Outside: The fully enclosed garden includes a patio area with BBQ, outdoor dining furniture, and sea views. A large balcony off the landing offers further space to enjoy the scenery. There’s also an outdoor cold shower and tap for sandy feet or muddy paws after a day on the beach. Driveway parking is available for up to three vehicles.

    Additional Information: Bed linen and towels are provided (please bring beach towels). Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Gas central and underfloor heating. Highchair and travel cot available. WiFi provided. No smoking. Friday changeover. Short breaks available outside peak weeks. A refundable damage deposit of £200 is payable with the final balance. Check-in from 4pm. Departure by 10am.
