This recently refurbished cottage offers attractive and stylish accommodation and overlooks the East Lyn River in the pretty coastal village of Lynmouth.
Fox Cottage has recently been refurbished to a good standard throughout. The open-plan living space has a cushioned window seat, which is perfect to perch and take in the lovely river views. Surrounded by the diverse scenery of the Exmoor National Park this is a haven for walkers and nature lovers with a multitude of coastal and countryside walks on your doorstep and an abundance of flora and fauna waiting for you to experience. The amenities of the picturesque coastal village of Lynmouth are only a very short walk including an a choice of individual shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs. The famous water powered Cliff Railway provides easy (and unforgettable)access to the twin village of Lynton perched high above the cliffs. Its elevated position does mean there are a few steps up to the property and also a 2 steep staircase to the first and second floors. There is a good selection of entertainment including, Smart TV, Netflix and Playstation 3, a well equipped kitchen area provides all you need to prepare your meals. Two bedrooms on the first floor are both served by a shower room with WC and basin.

For families: Fitted stairgate on top landing/bedroom . Please note there is no highchair or travel cot provided. May not suit mobile infants and young children.
Parking: A parking permit is provided for a car park within 100yds only between Good Friday and 1st November(please provide car registration number on booking.)
General: Wifi, Electric Central Heating, linen and towels provided, No smoking.

The location of this cottage is lovely, right by the river and close to the shops and coast. Some of the equipment was a bit lacking (only three tumblers and no wine glasses) and the pillows were terrible- flat as a pancake. By, otherwise it was lovely, comfortable and clean.

Lovely, comfortable stay in Lynmouth. Found it very hard to choose where to stay in Devon (it all looked great) and Lynmouth was perfect. We were able to enjoy all on offer - beaches, river walks, Exmoor. Cottage was perfect for three people and easy to relax in on rainy days. Beds were firm and comfortable and all was spotlessly clean. Parking was close by. Very impressed by my communication with Marsdens, they made it all so easy! Would love to visit again.
