The open-plan living space includes a well-designed kitchen that includes both a dishwasher and a microwave to make cooking easy and efficient. Step across to the dining table when you’re ready to eat, then recline on the sofa or armchair as you enjoy the warmth of the wood burner and a favourite show on the TV. Feeling tired? Head to the calm double bedroom, which is complemented by a bathroom with a shower over the bath, and enjoy a great night’s sleep, ready for tomorrow’s adventures. The shared facilities in the small complex of ten properties are fantastic, including a tennis court for use in the summer, an indoor swimming pool and a sauna. You can also roam around seven acres of fields, woodland and lawns, where you’ll find picnic tables scattered about in case you fancy an al fresco drink or meal.

One of a group of cottages on the site, the property is located on the outskirts of the coastal village of Combe Martin, which has a small variety of places to eat and drink and a sandy beach where you can hire kayaks and paddleboards. Explore the Exmoor National Park and the North Devon National Landscape on foot, by bike or on horseback, or wander through the beautiful gardens of Arlington Court, 6 miles away.
