We've just come back from Honeysuckle Cottage, after staying there a week. And we can't wait to return. Upon arrival, Jon met us and introduced himself with a very tasty lemon drizzle cake in hand. It was lovely, so was the fresh milk in the fridge, along with a pretty vase of colourful flowers. Very welcoming. The cottage is beautiful. Everything you need to self cater regarding cooking accessories and the ager is very easy to cook with. There is a woodburner, but we did not need to use it. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Under floor heating a warm treat. The sun room is fabulous with lots of natural light. The bedroom is large and the bed very comfy. Plenty of storage for clothes. The bathroom is amazing. Large modern bath and TV (very luxurious). I love a bath and was in there for a good 2 hours! Walk in shower with both overhead rainforest shower and portable shower fixing (which is great if you don't want to get your hair wet!). The garden is just the right size and kept neat and tidy. Parking is perfect. We found it easier to reverse in. Location perfect 👌 there is a small wooded area for walking your dog just 2 minutes walk from the cottage. The community shop is fabulous for the basic essentials and the ladies that run it are all very friendly. There is a pub (the George) 1 minute walk away and dog friendly. Open from 4pm Mon to Friday and from midday on weekends. Several ales to try, but no food. However, this is soon to change, so watch this space. All in all, we can't recommend Honeysuckle Cottage enough. It's quiet, clean, comfortable and delightful 😊 we are hoping to return soon. If we can get booked in! Lyn, Ken and Bobby the beagle.

Had a lovely 3 night stay here. We were welcomed by the friendly owner shortly after our arrival with a home made cake which was such a lovely touch. Very tentative and provided recommendations on local places to eat & drink. The main living room was decorated for Christmas which made it feel really cosy and snug at night in front of the log burner. Would certainly stay here again.
