Enjoy delicious home-cooked meals in the dining area prepared in the galley-style kitchen, with all you need to create great dishes and a coffee machine for your morning cuppa. Head upstairs to bed in the three attractive bedrooms, all can be made up as king or twin rooms and all have good storage too, you’ll also find two stylish shower rooms. Spend balmy days relaxing in the suntrap patio accessed from the kitchen or living area with a drink and a good book, get the BBQ going and dine al fresco.

Spend the day on Woolacombe’s 3 miles of golden sands, or head to Croyde beach (5. 5 miles) to go surfing, play a round among the dunes at the well-renowned Saunton Golf Club, grab your boots or bike for a day’s hiking or biking in Exmoor National Park (22 miles). For an adrenaline rush, try coasteering at Watermouth Castle (11 miles) and take the kids to Exmoor Zoo (17.5 miles) and Combe Wildlife Park (13.5 miles), visit Ilfracombe’s Victorian harbour (8 miles) to book a dolphin-watching boat trip.
