Tarka Trail starts just a few hundred yards away – a perfect way to take in the scenery of the Taw and Torridge estuaries either on foot or bicycle. Keen birdwatchers, walkers and naturalists will find plenty to explore in the area. Nearby NT Arlington Court, Marwood Gardens, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Dartington Crystal Works and Exmoor National Park are all within easy driving distance. Fishing, sailing, and horse riding, plus surfboard, windsurf, wetsuit and bicycle hire are all available locally.

A beautiful well maintained property which has been furnished to a high standard. It was very handy for walking into Braunton where there is a good selection of shops and restaurants.

We had a lovely week at Coopers Cottage, very centrally located and a great base to explore all surrounding areas (Woolacombe, Croyde, Clovelly etc.) The only downside was there is no parking attached to the property and it is a bit of a lottery to see if there is a space to park nearby, however it did not detract from the fact that Coopers Cottage is a lovely cottage, very well equipped and comfortable.
