This character cottage is situated in a quiet lane yet within easy reach of the village of Braunton.  From the moment you arrive it has an eclectic feel with unique artwork, and design features and overall exceptionally comfortable interiors, you’re sure to adore spending lazy mornings and restful evenings here with adventure-packed Devonshire days sandwiched in between. The accommodation invites six guests to stay and is also dog-friendly, complete with a generously proportioned garden that’s enclosed and perfect for pets or children to spend some time in the sunshine. It’s situated in a fantastic spot for exploring the pristine beaches that put North Devon on the map, so pack up your surfboard and plan your stay.

The lounge, kitchen and diner are all in separate rooms on the ground floor, each with attractive stone-flagged flooring, natural light pouring in and quirky furnishings. In the dining room find a large table with benches at each side and dual-aspect French doors leading out into the multi-tiered garden – both marvellous options for sitting down to breakfast or a tasty evening meal. You can then retire into the lounge for a night in front of the wood burner and Smart TV. Pass by a handy ground-floor WC as you venture upstairs to reach three lovely bedrooms, two of which are doubles and the last being a bijou bunk bedroom.

Make use of the property’s ample storage for bikes and surfboards and get stuck into the unrivalled outdoor offering that this area boasts. Find excellent surf at Saunton Sands (3 miles), Croyde Bay (4.5 miles) and Woolacombe Beach (5 miles) or embark on a Tarka Trail route on foot or on your bike. For more chilled days out, leave the equipment behind and instead take a trip to Exmoor Zoo (17.5 miles), Arlington Court (14.5 miles) or the Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park (13.5 miles), each just a drive away.
