My first visit to Ponsford Ponds and the Mallard Roundhouse. We really enjoyed our stay . We thought The Mallard was just right for the two of us it had everything that you could need and was very comfortable, the only thing that could be improved, is the bathroom sink tap location, at moment it makes face washing very difficult. The location in a beautiful valley is so peaceful and quiet. The weather was excellent also prob too hot for the Carp to feed in the specimen pond outside the Roundhouse but a quick chat to the owner rectified this by suggesting that I should try fishing the larger 2 acre pond this is within a short walk and contains a large stock of quality carp where I caught carp into double figures.Overall a most enjoyable holiday for my wife and I and we will be booking again for next year
