About this property

Lying on the outskirts of the coastal town, Seaton in Devon is Hill Top. This quaint, wooden lodge affords close proximity to the beach, is encompassed by the East Devon AONB, and welcomes four guests in two bedrooms making it ideal for families looking for a coastal holiday in Devon. After a fun filled day by the coast, cross the threshold and settle down on the sofa in the open-plan living space while watching on as your partner rustles up a tasty meal in the fully-equipped kitchen. Enjoy this at the extendable dining table or step outside to your private decking and indulge in an alfresco dinner as the sunsets over Devon. When sleep calls, tuck the kids into the fun twin room, it’ll feel just like a sleepover! Then retire to the double room for some well-earned rest before another busy day in Seaton; both rooms are serviced by a bathroom. Hill Top lies paces away from the tram that terminates in the heart of Seaton, here you can spend a sunny day on the beach sunbathing and splashing in the sea; no trip to the seaside would be complete without fish and chips on the promenade. Golfers can test their swing at the town’s golf course or guests can immerse themselves in local history at Beer Quarry Caves where you can get a unique glimpse into the past in the 2000-year-old vaulted caves. The famous town of Lyme Regis lies a short drive from Hill Top and provides a wealth of attractions; search for fossils at Fossil Beach, admire the local sea life at the aquarium or marvel at over 9000 fossil specimens collected from the Jurassic coast that are on display at Dinosaurland Fossil Museum. Treat your loved ones to a celebratory meal at Rock Point Inn or the Pilot Boat which both overlook the golden sand of Lyme Regis beach. East Devon AONB and Blackdown Hill AONB are nearby and serve as a haven for ramblers thanks to the myriad of walks and trails woven throughout. Hill Top is perfectly located for a seaside holiday in Seaton, Devon.

East Devon's Seaton is a popular seaside destination. It has red cliffs on one side and white cliffs on the other, and looks out onto Lyme Bay to the west of the mouth of the River Axe. Both Axmouth and Beer are conveniently located close by. The beach, which is mostly composed of shingle and extends for about a mile, and the small harbour are separated by a sea wall. Seaton is located on the Jurassic Coast, a stretch of coastline in Devon that is a unesco World Heritage Site, and it has a wide variety of stores, restaurants, and bars.
