About this property

A charming and bright two-bedroom apartment located in Seaton, Devon, with a lovely outlook over Seafield Gardens with its tennis courts and park, close to the beach and coast beyond. Perfect for friends and families alike, Flat 2, 10 Seafield Road is a first floor apartment situated in a row of Victorian houses with high ceilings and a wealth of period features typical of a property of this age.

Arranged on one level, the entrance hall leads to the large living room, a sociable space with a feature fireplace and picture bay window where you can unwind with your loved ones after a day on the beach.

The adjoining kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals that can be enjoyed while taking in the views towards the sea. A welcome pack for your arrival ensures a great start to your holiday and will include milk, tea and a selection of locally sourced produce and treats.

The two bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, are both plushly furnished, whilst the family bathroom has a bath with a shower over.

With the coast only a stone’s throw away, Seaton offers great choices for visitors to see and do. The mile long beach is popular for water sports including paddle boarding and kayaking as well as taking a refreshing dip in the sea.

Hop onto the tramway and enjoy a ride alongside the River Axe estuary to Colyton where you can spend a few hours exploring the historic market town famed for its ‘rebellious’ past, or indulge in a traditional Devon cream tea before embarking on the return journey to Seaton.

When it comes to mealtimes, Seaton offers a good selection of eateries and restaurants for when you don’t want to cook or enjoy fish and chips taking in the view over the bay.

An area popular with walkers, the South West Coastal Footpath offers far reaching scenic views along the Jurassic Coast and takes in the neighbouring fishing villages of Branscombe and Beer, both perfect locations to stop for a cold beverage.

For those wishing to explore the history and heritage head to Lyme Regis or Charmouth, where you can learn about the area's long association with fossils at Lyme Regis museum or the Charmouth Heritage Centre, before heading out to see if you can find your own ammonite on the shores.

Flat 2, 10 Seafield Road makes for a wonderful getaway with something for the whole family to enjoy.

The seaside village of Seaton is at the mouth of the River Seaton in Cornwall and you will find a family friendly south facing beach and the nearby Seaton Valley Countryside Park and Nature reserve is home to wildlife, including otters and kingfishers and also offers great cycling and walking opportunities. The picturesque working harbours at Looe and Polperro are within an easy driving distance away, and the wonderful stretches of the South West Coast Path in this part of Cornwall take you to rocky coves, dramatic headlands and tales of shipwrecks and smugglers. Further afield is Plymouth, where you will find plenty to see and do, including a marine aquarium, a theatre, large shopping centres and the historic Barbican waterside area.

Parking space and advantage otherwise parking would be an issue in the area. Seaview and view over the gardens, crazy golf and bowling green very nice. The only down side is being on the middle floor you hear creaking floor boards from the flat above and the walls must be fairly thin as you hear the residents voices from the flats above and below. Being a holiday let in a house that has permanent residents is probably not ideal for them or the holiday maker.

We loved being able to look out over the park toward the sea and it was great to stroll out for a game of crazy golf, then down to the seafront for our morning coffee. Parking was great too, a real advantage especially during the busy time of the year. A good centre for visiting other great seaside towns in the area.
