Seaton is a wonderful area of Devon with a beach right at the doorstep of the property, perfect for a family walk across the bay and with access to the Jurassic coastline where you can search for fossils amongst the rocky shoreline. If you are a nature lover, then a visit to Seaton Wetlands will be essential, providing a wonderful walk and a selection of bird hides so that you can explore the fantastic wildlife on offer. You can also enjoy a walk amongst the countryside at Lower Bruckland Nature Reserve or visit the historic Musbury Castle. Seaton is a seaside town in East Devon on the south coast. It faces onto Lyme Bay, to the west of the mouth of the River Axe with red cliffs to one side and white cliffs on the other. Axmouth and Beer are nearby. A sea wall provides access to the mostly shingle beach stretching for about a mile, and a small harbour. Seaton is on the stretch of Devon coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, and the town offers a good range of shops, friendly cafes, restaurants and pubs.
