Located in East Devon not far from Honiton and easy access from London, you are perfectly placed to explore all that Devon, Dorset and Somerset has to offer. Set within the heart of Devon farmland there are many beautiful walks from the property. Lyme Regis and Branscombe beaches, Exeter is easily accessible by car. Honiton is a short drive with its abundance of antique shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Why not visit the historic Dumpton Fort, closer to home, there are several pubs serving food and all are within an easy drive. Stepping into this traditional cottage you are immediately struck by the contemporary interior with a large kitchen/diner, exposed oak beams and a huge fireplace with wood burner. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The dining area with table and chairs make for a stylish social area. A couple of shallow steps lead you to a utility area with plenty of room for muddy boots and coats. The shower room with shower and WC is on this lower level. The lounge can be found the other side of the staircase via a few steps, this has another huge fireplace with wood burner, why not sit and relax on one of the comfortable sofas and watch your favourite program or movie on the TV. If listening to music is more your thing, then connect to the bluetooth speaker which can be taken into any room. There are two staircases, both very narrow and steep, please take care. One leads to the master king size with stylish en suite bathroom with roll top bath and WC. The other leads up to a mezzanine zip and link twin room (which can be made up as a super king size on request). Stepping outside there is an enclosed lawn area directly outside the property with countryside views, a utility room adjoins the property but is accessed from outside, which houses the washing machine and tumble dryer and is lockable so it s ideal for cycles or surfboards. There is a tiny stream that runs down one side of the lawn. Steps lead down to a gated parking area which can hold up to four cars. Please note: this property has a private and tested water supply. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 zip and link twin (which can be made up as a super king size on request). 1 en suite bathroom and 1 shower room.
