Tasty home-cooked meals can be prepared in the charming kitchen and enjoyed in the splendid dining room, when you're not out taking advantage of the fine eateries in the towns and villages in the surrounding area. The three-quarters-of-an-acre garden surrounding the property is bursting with vibrant plants and flowers, which make for a wonderful stroll in the summer or simply admire it from the comfort of your private patio with a glass of wine in hand. Within the village of Stockland there are a variety of walks and a church which has regular services should you wish to attend. If you want a peaceful and relaxing break, this is the cottage for you. The hosts were lovely, met us on our first day and explained everything to us. Nothing was too much trouble. The property itself was lovely, cosy warm and away from the Hustle and bustle of life of which we needed. Would we stay again? that is a big YES. Thank you for letting us stay.
