Well equipped and ideally situated to explore west Devon and east Dorset. Our host, Ann, was lovely, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend Defoe's view. Definitely 5 star.

The property is beautiful - spotlessly clean and has the most amazing views of the Devon countryside. The kitchen is well equipped with everything one could want. Bed linen and towels were of a high quality. All bedrooms have hairdryers, plenty of plug sockets and USB points. There isn't an Alexia or other music speaker, so you may want to bring your own. Tea, coffee and sugar is provided but no milk, so make sure you pick up a pint on the way. The owner, Ann, is a delight. I highly recommend staying at Defoe's View.
