About this property

With gorgeous panoramic views along the Exe and right out to the sea beyond is 17 Shelly Court. This beautiful, second floor apartment is set just a stones throw from the sandy beach and upscale marina at the popular resort of Exmouth. Inside, the apartment is light, bright and thoroughly stylish – perfect for romantic couples or for families. From the open plan living area full height picture windows offer the most glorious water views. Why not relax on the balcony and take in the ever changing river vistas with your morning coffee? In the kitchen/diner you’ll find sleek surfaces and all mod cons for your convenience. If you don’t feel like cooking, there are several good food pubs and excellent seafood restaurants within a very short walk. For traditional family seaside fun, head to the beach where you’ll find acres of sand and for the adventurous among you a myriad of water sports. Walk (or take the train) along the picturesque Avocet Line following the eastern bank of the Exe estuary to the picture perfect villages of Lympstone where you'll find Lympstone Manor and its exceptional vineyard and Topsham with its interesting independent stores, boutiques and restaurants. Further along the line, the bright lights of the city of Exeter with its cathedral and quay make for a must see day out. Fun days out with the children can be enjoyed at the World of Country Life or Crealy family theme park. Whether you are looking for a relaxing family holiday on golden beaches or a romantic break for two in a truly stunning location, 17 Shelly Court is the perfect getaway destination.

On the eastern bank of the estuary of the River Exe, Exmouth has everything required by the visitor for a relaxing break. A thriving coastal town with a nationally renowned bird sanctuary, close to miles of sandy beaches, superb coastal walking, with everything for the fisherman and sailor, close to Exeter and with much to do and see - this all contributes to the town’s attraction. In addition to messing about on boats, lazing on the beach or taking the ferry up the estuary or to Dawlish Warren nature reserve, there’s always Crealy Park theme park, Bicton Park stately home and gardens, the Donkey Sanctuary at nearby Sidmouth, Woodbury Common, the cathedral city of Exeter, the Sandy Bay World of Country Life and the all absorbing Jurassic Coast with its famous fossil deposits stretching eastwards into Dorset. In terms of visitor attractions and coastal lifestyle you won’t find much better than Exmouth.

The apartment is clean, bright and modern, well equipped with everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay there.

We met the owner Tina on our last day, a lovely lady who obviously takes great care and pride in the presentation of her apartment. Sykes holiday cottages are lucky to have her.

The flat is located at the very end of the Esplanade and just a two-minute walk from the very nice Rockfish restaurant, with fantastic views across the River Exe and is very comfortable and well-appointed with everything we wanted for our stay. The town centre is about a ten-minute walk away and there are some great places to eat there, as well as being a short drive away from Topsham, where one of our favourite restaurants, The Galley, is located. I hope to come back again and highly recommend Sea Point.
