About this property

Keeling is a stylish, terraced cottage close to the beach in Exmouth, Devon. With three bedrooms sleeping up to six guests, the cottage welcomes a family of six with excellent amenities, thoughtful décor and easy access to Devon's gorgeous coast. Park up in the roadside parking and step inside where a spacious, attractive sitting room welcomes you into your home-from-home after the day's adventures; sink into the cushioned sofas, start the electric fire for added comfort and choose the evening's entertainment on the Smart TV. Follow the hard wooden floors into the kitchen/diner to set the rustic table ready for dinner, which can be rustled up in the well-equipped kitchen, complete with a washing machine and dishwasher for your convenience. When it's time to retire, climb the stairs and pour in the bubbles for a relaxing soak in the tub, before catching your rest in one of three bedrooms; the king-size and double have been furnished with great attention to detail, whilst the bunk bed welcomes two younger guests. Start your day with a hot cup of coffee in your own private garden to plan out the day's agenda! Why not start it with a refreshing swim at the indoor pool in Exmouth's Leisure Centre just down the road? You'll have a range of shops, pubs and restaurants right on your doorstep, whilst Exmouth's attractions include the town's museum, a bustling promenade to stop for ice cream by the sea or take a stroll or cycle along the River Exe. For a day out on the water, Exmouth Marina is nearby offering a number of boat trips including Jurassic Coast Tours, the River Exe and guided bird watching cruises. Ideally located for exploring East Devon, find coastal paths, swimming and windsurfing on an award-winning shoreline, including Exmouth Beach less than a mile away; Bicton Park Botanical Gardens and East Devon Golf Club are also located in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Celebrate special occasions at Lympstone Manor with its Michelin starred restaurant and visit the curious A la Ronde, a National Trust property with an interesting history. Exmouth train station is close to Keeling with easy access to the cathedral city of Exeter, where there's plenty to see and do, from tours of Underground Passages and the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery to the Medieval Exe Bridge. Why not treat the whole family to Crealy Theme Park & Resort for an unforgettable day out? However, you wish to spend your holiday, choose Keeling for your next staycation in Devon.

Exmouth, on the eastern bank of the River Exe's estuary, contains everything a visitor needs for a peaceful holiday. A flourishing coastal town with a nationally recognised bird sanctuary, miles of sandy beaches, excellent coastal walking, everything for the fisherman and sailor, near proximity to Exeter, and enough to do and see all add to the town's appeal. There are few places in the world that compare to Exmouth in terms of visitor attractions and seaside lifestyle.

Whilst we were there, we managed to break a glass. We called Sykes twice and left messages but no-one ever got back to us. Whilst it wasn't an urgent problem, a phone call back would have been appreciated. Luckily we had the cleaners number and dealt with it through her but this shouldn't have been the case.

Home from home. Close to train station, pubs, shops and amenities. Would highly recommend and we will definitely stay again at Keeling. Best holiday home we have stayed in. Thank you.

The bin was very amusing. Exceptionally clean and well equipped especially the kitchen. Lovely soft white towels. The tv unfortunately was stuck on subtitles, we tried everything to remove them. The back patio door could have a blind to close at night. We left a day early due to the weather but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very close to shops, restaurants and railway station. Pam from Huntingdon.
