About this property

A well-presented first floor apartment just 250 metres from the sea in the pretty village of Beer in Devon. Perfect for a small family or a group of friends, Midships provides an excellent base to explore the Jurassic Coast.

Accessed by a flight of stairs, the apartment has a cosy living/dining room home to large, comfortable sofas where you can relax and unwind in front of the TV after a walk along the coastline. Next to this is the modern, fully fitted kitchen with everything you need to prepare heart warming meals to enjoy at the dining table.

Midships has two comfortable bedrooms, a double with plenty of storage space, and a twin bedroom. Both share a light and bright family bathroom.

Located just off the main shopping street in Beer, you are minutes away from the shops, pubs and many restaurants in the village, and a five minute walk from the shingle beach. Beer is also home to an annual regatta held every August, drawing large crowds to this popular fishing village. Fantastic coastal walks are accessible, offering superb dramatic clifftop views of the Jurassic Coastline.

There is much to do in the surrounding area, the nearby coastal towns of Sidmouth and Lyme Regis are within easy reach, and further afield it is well worth a trip to the cathedral city of Exeter or Dorcester, the county town of Dorset.

Whether you fancy a relaxing beach holiday or wish to explore this stunning coastline, Midships is a fantastic home-away-from-home for you and your loved ones.

Beer is a small picturesque fishing village on the south Devon coast near Seaton. The shingle beach is very sheltered, backed by limestone cliffs and was once fertile smuggling territory, plus contraband was hidden in nearby caves, which are now a popular tourist attraction. Beer is situated on the stretch of Devon coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, and the village offers sloping streets lined with picturesque stone houses and cottages built on many different levels of the steep valley sides. There are a good range of shops, friendly cafes, restaurants and pubs in Beer, plus just outside the village is the popular Pecorama Gardens, which are perched on the hill overlooking Lyme Bay. Pecorama boasts the Beer Heights Light Railway and indoor model railway exhibition, along with a childrens' play area. Beer is a unique Devon fishing village and a great place to stay.
