Just a short drive away is the medieval village of Tintagel, with its craggy ruins steeped in myths and legends and Merlin s Cave set in dramatic surroundings with a beautiful waterfall. In addition and just slightly further afield, the coastal villages of Port Isaac, where TV s Doc Martin is filmed, Padstow, Rock, are all well worth a visit and a haven for foodies. Other attractions accessible from here include The Eden Project, Tate Gallery at St Ives, and numerous National Trust properties.
