If the weather is nice, why not fire up the barbecue in the large garden, where you can savour the last of the day’s sunshine, followed by toasting marshmallows at the fire pit? On cooler days, dinners can be enjoyed in the spacious living/dining room in front of the crackling open fire, before relaxing on the spacious corner sofa in front of the TV. There is also a well-appointed TV room with woodburning stove, so there will never be any need to hog the remote! For your entertainment, the conservatory has table football and tennis where you can enjoy a game or two with loved ones. When sleep calls, there are five beautifully presented bedrooms, a twin on the ground floor which is served by a shower room, and then a super-king-size with en-suite bathroom, a king-size with en-suite shower room, a king-size and a family room with a king-size and single, served by a family bathroom, all of which can be found on the first floor. Within a short distance of the property, the Camel Estuary offers spectacular sailing and water-skiing as well as access to fine dining establishments, bars and the coastal route that connects Porthilly to Daymer and then Polzeath. There are two excellent golf courses within a short distance of your home: The Point and St Enodoc. The North Cornwall coast offers breath-taking views of the Atlantic Ocean for kilometres in every direction. You can also take a ferry from Rock to Padstow, a historic working harbour, for a fun day out. Take a water taxi back to your hotel after dinner at one of Rick Stein's restaurants or Paul Ainsworth's at No. 6 for a truly wonderful experience. Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.
